FIND THE RESOURCE

Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN) is a hub for resources and partnership to facilitate connection and communication within the GWEN community.

According to statistics, one in three people will suffer from domestic violence and other forms of abuse. GWEN seeks to reverse these numbers and empower victims to stand up and know they are not alone. To help support this goal, GWEN is creating the GWEN ALERT database of shelters, counselors and services categorized by states and major cities. Eventually GWEN will extend this service worldwide by partnering with other global agencies. The GWEN ALERT database will work in conjunction with GWEN’s mobile app set for release September 2012.
